BOI Chicago Chapter is actively involved in establishing the ATHAN being called outside of the more than 100 Masajid, Musala's and Islamic Centers located in the Greater Chicagoland area. BOI asks, how can Muslims come to prayer in Jammat, if they cannot hear our "Call to Prayer?" BOI Muezzins currently call the Athan for Salatul-Maghrib and Salatul-Isha nightly, outside of the BOI Musala. Allahu-Akbar! | |||||||||||||||||||||||

BOI also asks, how can Muslims give effective Dawa to outer society, if that society cannot hear the Athan and bear witness Muslims coming together for prayer? In the Athan for Salatul- Fajr the Muezzin calls "As-Salatul kiran minan naum" (prayer is better than sleep). Brothers and Sisters of Al-Islam, please call the Athan outside your local Masjid, Musala, Madrasa or Islamic Centers at least for 1 of the 5 daily prayers. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
